バークレイズ・キャピタル証券、豊泉直紀を投資銀行本部M&Aアドバイザリー部長に起用 –日本におけるアドバイザリー業務、さらに強化・拡充へ–

【2011年5月30日、東京】 英バークレイズ銀行の投資銀行部門であるバークレイズ・キャピタルは、豊泉直紀（とよいずみ・なおき）をこの度、証券日本法人の投資銀行部門投資銀行本部M&Aアドバイザリー部長兼マネージング・ディレクターに起用しました。

豊泉は17年間にわたり、数多くのM&A助言や企業の資金調達を手掛けてまいりました。1994年より14年間在籍したゴールドマン・サックス証券では、投資銀行本部コーポレート・ファイナンス部門、M&A部門を歴任し、ヘルスケア、食品、小売、ロジスティクス及びメディアといったセクターを中心に数々の案件に携りました。その後、2009年より直近までは、三菱UFJモルガン・スタンレー証券の投資銀行部門M&Aアドバイザリー・グループにて、ヘルスケア、一般消費財や中型M&A案件等に関わるオリジネーション及びエグゼキューション・サービスの提供に従事しました。

Tokyo, May 30, 2011 – Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, today announced the appointment of Naoki Toyoizumi as Managing Director and Head of M&A Advisory, Investment Banking Japan. He is based in Tokyo.

Mr. Toyoizumi's appointment brings additional global and local expertise to Barclays Capital. He will leverage the firm's strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients around the world to further strengthen the domestic Japanese and cross-border M&A franchise.

Mr. Toyoizumi has 17 years of investment banking experience and has focused on advisory for the majority of his career. He most recently worked in Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities' (MUMSS) IBD M&A Advisory Group, where he was responsible for origination and execution of healthcare, consumer and other mid-cap M&A transactions. Prior to joining MUMSS, Mr. Toyoizumi spent 14 years in Goldman Sachs Japan's IBD M&A Department, where he focused on various industries including healthcare, consumer and media/entertainment.
