Barclays Capital Appoints Jack Yee as Head of Equity Syndicate, Asia Pacific

Hong Kong, 29 August 2011 - Barclays Capital today announced the appointment of Jack Yee as Managing Director, Head of Equity Syndicate, Asia Pacific.
Mr. Yee has responsibility for managing Barclays Capital’s equity syndicate function in Asia Pacific, leading the marketing, distribution, pricing and allocation of equity capital markets transactions. He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Mike Di Iorio, Head of Equities, Asia Pacific and New York-based Matthew Johnson, Head of Global Equity Syndicate.
Mr. Yee joins Barclays Capital from Nomura, where he was Head of Equity Syndicate, Asia Ex-Japan. Previously he spent 10 years at Lehman Brothers, working in a variety of equity syndicate and trading roles before being appointed Head of Equity Syndicate, Asia Pacific, in 2007.
On the appointment, Mr. Di Iorio commented, “Bringing Jack on board further strengthens our Asia Pacific Equities franchise, and we are delighted to welcome him to the firm.
