バークレイズ証券、高橋邦比呂氏を投資銀行本部テクノロジー・メディア・通信業界責任者に起用

【2013年7月8日、東京】 バークレイズ証券株式会社（以下、「バークレイズ証券」）は、高橋邦比呂（たかはし・くにひろ）を投資銀行部門投資銀行本部テクノロジー・メディア・通信（TMT）グループ責任者として起用することを決定いたしました。
高橋は、アーサー・アンダーセンを経て、2004年からゴールドマン・サックス証券に在籍、TMT分野、インダストリアル分野を中心として国内外事業会社によるM&A案件及び資本調達案件に数多く携ってきました。これまでに日本電産によるエマーソン・エレクトリック社のモーター＆コントロール事業買収、ベルシステム24のベインキャピタルへの売却、三菱重工によるプラット・アンド・ホイットニー・パワーシステムズ買収、クボタによるクバンランド社買収、住友金属工業と新日本製鐵の合併、塩野義製薬のサイエル・ファーマ社買収、INPEXと帝国石油の経営統合など、大型のM&A案件を手がけ、資金調達案件についても、さまざまな角度から関わってきました。

高橋は9月からバークレイズ証券に入社する予定です。
BARCLAYS APPOINTS KUNIHIRO TAKAHASHI AS HEAD OF JAPAN TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA AND TELECOM SECTOR COVERAGE IN INVESTMENT BANKING
Tokyo, 8 July, 2013 – Barclays Securities Japan Limited today announced the appointment of Kunihiro Takahashi as Head of Japan Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Coverage in the Investment Banking Division.
Mr. Takahashi was most recently at Goldman Sachs Japan Co., Ltd. and prior to that worked for Arthur Andersen in Japan. He has advised clients on a number of important transactions, both in the TMT and Industrial sectors and across M&A and financing situations. Notable transactions include the acquisition by Nidec of the Motors & Controls Business of Emerson Electric Co., the acquisition of Bellsystem24 by Bain Capital, the acquisition of Pratt & Whitney Power Systems by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the acquisition of Kverneland ASA (Norway) by Kubota, the merger between Nippon Steel Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Industries, the acquisition of Sciele Pharma by Shionogi & Co., and the merger between INPEX Corporation and Teikoku Oil.
